The range of Ex d flameproof flow heaters are are used for heating liquids and gases, providing a clean and efficient heating method for bulk liquid flow applications. The Ex d flameproof flow heaters range is certified for use in hazardous areas where
the atmosphere is classified as a Zone 1 or 2 (IIA, IIB, IIC) gas group, or a Zone 21 or 22 (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC) dust group.
All our heaters are designed and manufactured according to customer's requirements and operating conditions. The material for the electrical connection box is carbon steel painted or stainless steel. Heating elements material is stainless steel. The specific surface load is a measure for the heat transfer onto
the heated medium. It must be chosen according to the medium,flow, pressure and mounting conditions as well as the medium temperature and admissible surface temperatures. With a specific surface load wich is optimized for the process, a high thermal efficiency will be reached.

  • Pressure vessels

    Immersion heaters that are part of a pressure vessel are designed, manufactured and inspected according to the pressure vessel code, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), ASME VIII or other international codes. The selection of category according to PED should be advised by the customer, according to the conformity assessment.

  • Specific surface load

    The specific surface load is a measure for the heat transfer onto the heated medium. It must be chosen according to the medium, flow, pressure and mounting conditions as well as the medium temperature and admissible surface temperatures.     All heaters are designed and manufactured according to the individual requirements of our customers.
    Design, Manufacturing and Inspection according to European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED, 97/23/EC),ASME code or other international standards.
    Design according to AD2000, ASME or other codes.
    Explosion protected devices are supplied with EC type examination certificate(according to ATEX directive 2014/34/EU), IECEx certificates are available on project basis.
